We built our automotive battery insulating plates molding line in a cleanroom to prevent contamination. The facility is maintained at the high end of class 10,000 standards, and production is subject to stringent quality control.

Corrosion-resistant Specialized Molds Enable Molding into Challenging Shapes

The resins used to make insulating plates are extremely hard to handle, as they have lower moldability than ordinary resins and are susceptible to dirt and contamination. We are one of a small handful of manufacturers in Japan with the corrosion-resistant molds and unique molding skills to mold insulating plates into challenging shapes.

Fully In-house Production Line from Inspection to Mass Production

We have established a fully in-house, fully automated production line covering the entire process from inspection to mass production—we even designed and made our own imaging inspection devices. Current production output is several million units per month, but we are building a production system that will be able to handle ten times that volume in anticipation of increase demand as the market for EVs grows.
