Large Friction Coefficient and High Abrasion Resistance Achieved with Original Blending Technology
Printing machine must process a wide range of paper, such as coated paper and foreign-made paper. The paper feed/transport roller must be made of rubber that retains a high friction coefficient even after transporting different types of paper. By maximizing original design know-how, we developed a rubber material that offers high resistance to abrasion even when used for a long period of time, retains a high friction coefficient even with adhesion of paper dust, and significantly reduces paper contamination. We offers highly reliable and durable paper feed/transport rollers.
What Makes Our Paper Feed Rollers Special?
High Friction Coefficient and Superb Resistance to Abrasion Achieved with Original Design Know-How
We use EPDM with hardness ranging from 20 to 45 (A) as the material for paper feed rollers. Created with a formulation technology developed based on our extensive experience, these materials offer both high friction coefficient retaining characteristic and superb abrasion resistance. We also mass-produce belt-shaped samples, in addition to ordinary rolls. We can also use a polyurethane material for applications requiring higher abrasion resistance, such as high-speed machines. Yamauchi offers a wide range of materials to meet customer needs.
What Makes Our Transport Rollers Special?
A Wide Selection of Materials to Provide Rollers that Meet Specific Product Requirements
For transport rollers (registration rollers and paper output rollers), we offer materials with hardness ranging from 50 to 85 (A). Using materials such as EPDM, polyurethane, CR, SBR and silicon, we provide products that meet diverse needs. Our polyurethane rollers are highly evaluated because the roll diameter does not change easily due to toner absorption even when they are located close to the fuser rollers in high-speed, high-image-quality machines.
