Our Five Areas of Contribution
Helping employees stay healthy and maintain a good work-life balance
Subsidies for Complete Health Screenings
We subsidize complete health screenings for employees of 10+ years standing when they turn 40, 50, and 59.
Flu Vaccination Subsidies
We subsidize flu vaccinations for employees and their families to prevent the spread of influenza.
Medical Examinations with Added Extras
Our employee health check-ups go further than the legally mandated tests to include lifestyle-related diseases and cancer screening.
Minimizing Long Working Hours
In addition to no-overtime days, we hold monthly feedback sessions for broader recognition of factors that may be leading to long working hours.

Maintaining workplaces that are equally rewarding for all people regardless of gender, race, religion, etc.
Career Opportunities for Women
In 2020, we were awarded the “Kurumin Mark,” the government’s certification for family-friendly companies. Our workplace environments encourage women to pursue career opportunities, and women make up roughly 20% of our annual intake of new employees.
Support Systems for Balancing Work and Family Life
We offer schemes that allow for a variety of work styles to balance work and childcare, including a reduced working hours for parents until the child reaches the third year of elementary school.
Encouragement for Male Employees to Take Childcare Leave
We work not only with male employees themselves, but also with their immediate superiors and HR to encourage childcare leave. This and regular messaging in the in-house newsletter has resulted in uptake over 50%.
Cross-cultural Inclusiveness
We remain a proactive employer of people from all over the world, and seek to accommodate people from different backgrounds through initiatives such as halal lunch options and prayer rooms.

Using energy harvesting technology to generate electricity
Energy Harvesting
Energy harvesting is the practice of using technology to harvest small amounts of energy from close-at-hand sources such as wind, heat, light, waves, and vibration, and convert them into electricity. In our Energy Harvesting Business, we offer solutions for collecting energy generated by vibration and movement into an induction device that combines magnets and coils to generate electricity. The idea is to generate the small amounts of power needed for minor operations on site, and we expect that there will be widespread demand for solutions like these. For instance, when the barrier arm of a parking facility moves up and down, why not use that movement to generate the electricity needed to send signals about parking vacancy?

Improving refrigerator energy efficiency by reduces compressor vibration
Vibration-isolating Rubber
Since the EU tightened requirements for refrigerator energy efficiency in March 2021, manufacturers are offering more models with energy-efficient inverter compressors. The problem with these is that vibrations peak at different frequencies, and this has led to an increase in interest in our rubber components, which offer high vibration damping performance.
